Devlog #1: A quick update
That game night thing
In the last devlog we said we were putting the game on display in a game night, and we did. We didn’t get much traction though, as we were a 2 player game competing for attention with games like Smash and Just Dance. General feedback was snow being a bit too annoying and halting the game’s momentum. We’re still thinking of what we’ll do about it.
Regarding development
We started implementing a few quality of life features, such as visual indication for units that will be hurt by a spell, numeric HP indicators when you hover over a unit and an in game menu to quit without having to kill your own orb. More of these little changes are still on their way to next week’s update.
Oh, also, we also have a proper main menu now! It’s simple, but it’s there.
This is all for this week folks, thanks for reading. We’ll keep you updated of what happens this next week, but until then,
Be your own magic.
