Devlog #7: Oops
So...
Apparently we need to do a better job at QA, because trying to create rain in v0.2.6 crashed the game entirely. I guess all we can say is sorry ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.
But now to actual news!
Cool new stuff!
- We have animations to all the spells!
- The spell select menu is now a scroll!
- Spell tooltips when you hover over a spell button!
- The crash doesn't happen anymore!
We're also working on the behind the scenes, mainly with music, the spell design/balance and thinking of how to implement a decent tutorial. That infodump won't do for a finished product!
Also the spaghetti code is starting to bite our magical butts back, especially with the tutorial thing... We might need to do some restructuring in the future, and with only 3 weeks left that is not a good thing.
