Devlog #3: We're still here!


Hello there!

The first thing you’ll notice when you run the game is that there’s a new map! Don’t worry, we didn’t get rid of the previous one (we still have its layout), but we feel like the new map will be overall more interesting to play in.

In “other things we did this week”, we have:

  • We added two new animations: Lightning Bolt (which admittedly feels kind of meh for now) and Imbue Life.
  • A destructible obstacle (which isn’t in any map right now).
  • A turn time limit.
  • A better victory screen than a solid color square with a button inside.
  • Sprites “below” the hexes to give a little more depth to the board.

As was said last week, this wasn’t a very productive cycle, and it doesn’t look like next week will be much better, but we’re looking into expanding our team and start working on the music.
