Devlog #2: We have (some) animations!


Hey there! We’re back!

Since last week, the most exciting update is (drumroll please)...

Spell animations!

But you’d know that, because it’s in the title of this post. Unless you didn’t read it, in which case, SURPRISE!
They’re just a proof of concept for using particle systems for animation, so we only have two of them so far: Fireball and Rock Strike. Particle systems are easier and faster than animating them frame by frame, and “easy and fast” is exactly what we need for the scope of this project.

Development was a bit slow this week, and could take a week or two to get back on track. Tons of stuff going on at the same time for everyone in the project.
